Dr. Shandra Lee was raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Growing up a daughter of a radiologist and a nurse, she was destined to have a career in healthcare. She received her Bachelors of Science Honors degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario prior to attending Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Lee was awarded her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2003 and continued to pursue a career in endodontics. In 2005, she graduated from two-year residency in Endodontics from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Lee has volunteered over the years with Special Olympics as well as the Mission of Mercy providing dental screening and endodontic therapy to those in need. In addition to dentistry, she has also spent many years volunteering with Hunkapi Programs (an equine-assisted therapy program) and with Maricopa County Animal Care and Control with Cool Cats Rescue (fostering kittens and puppies).

Dr. Lee is an avid mountain biker, enjoys skiing and snowboarding, hiking, and camping. She is excited to join the teams of Mount Vernon and Mount baker Root Canal Specialists and call Bellingham home.
